Creative director, community organiser & consultant focusing on LGBTQ+ access to style support.

Santi is a multidisciplinary artist, a (DIY) style outreach expert and the Founder of G(end)er Swap – the first LGBTQ+ style outreach organisation in the UK that supports gender-diverse people to explore self-expression.
Santi is one of the only practitioners working in this field in the UK. Their work spans visual art, community organising, digital content creation and textile art as mediums to explore, and challenge, ideas of gender non-conformity. Santi designs and delivers style workshops and online support initiatives as well as creates and curates digital style resources, that equips Trans+ people with new creative skills (and inspiration) to build a gender affirming wardrobe sustainably (mending, DIY, thrifting etc).
For their award-winning initiatives, Santi has been invited to the academic and social enterprise sector to speak about their work, has completed commissioned textile installations and performance pieces for renowned queer/archival spaces in East London, and has published work and style resources for a variety of global online platforms.
Santi has over a decade of experience working in well-being, style, and makeup support for diverse communities across the UK (and internationally). Additionally they area drag performer, and DIY streetwear creator and writer, using interdisciplinary mediums to advocate for trans representation in all its most imaginative forms.
Santi is the recent recipient of the AHRC 'Crafting Care' Doctoral Award for doctoral studies at University of Liverpool (2026), the Develop Your Own Creative Practice Grant by Arts Council England (2024), and more.
